Anyone tried installing Infinity Kappa Perfect 5.1's in the front doors w/ MBQ adapters? Thanks.

Yes, I have them in right now. I was really quite dissapointed in the sound quality. They just never seemed to fit right even with the adapters. They can not be screwed directly into the adapter because it will press down on the rubber surround. So I put two washers/nuts in between the speaker and the adapter (each screw) so it would not hit the surround. but be carefull if the washers are too thick the back of the speaker will hit the window when it goes down.
I just built a kick panel today, and I plan on putting a boston pro 3 way with the tweeter in the lower door, 4.5 in the stock location, and the 6.5 in the kick.. Hopefully it will sound better. Not that the infinity didnt, it just did not sound as good as I wanted it to..
