I have ben having the hard time finding specs on this, and the service department has been no help at all..

Is this car pre-wired? if so, how do you open the compartment in the back? I'mm trying to attach an pod with my xm radio, but info is so hard to find.

Any help would be very much appreciated...

thanks for your help...is the xm in the trunk or connected directly to the radio, i can't seem to find a dealer or a stereo place that can answer this for me...last resort i would much prefer to have my iPod attached rather than the xm...

XM is in the trunk. You can have both, it just takes a little research.

thanks i'll keep looking...i think i found a place that sells a module that allows two aux inputs to the stereo cd changer output...i did this all 3 years ago with my last car, when the iPod first came out...no stereo place would do it for me so i took the dash apart and figured it out, but i'm a little reluctant to tear apart this car. Maybe i should just wait two months for the Audi solution to be released.

Yes, but the audi solution will not retain your SAT radio. ( I think )
