Default Audio stuff to be installed..Thoughts???

Total about $1800 including labor....

Kicker ND22 Titanium tweeters
Kicker Resolution R4C 4" mid
Orion XTR NT 6" <-- rear deck

Above powered by Alpine V12 4 X 30 RMS

12" Orion XTR sub in ported box
powered by Orion 2 X 50 XTR amp

Questions:
-is 4 X 30 enough juice for the fronts?
-will i hear the 12" sub through the rear deck without a ski sack or folding down rear seat?

Any other opinions appreciated...I listen to rap/R&B mostly

Default What does the sub amp bridge to?? 120w to your mids/highs may require more power to your sub....

For example I am currently running 80w total to all mids/highs and 170w to the 2 subs, more watts to the sub and you will not have to work your sub amp so hard, it will run cooler and sound cleaner! Orion usually can be run down to .5 ohms for the subs, is your sub a dual voice coil model, if so it can show a 1 ohm load to the amp and seriously increase the wattage output.

I may not be understanding but how does the power my fronts matter with how much power the sub amp is giving? It is roughly 200 watts bridged...

Default Russ, have you been able to find the new Kickers? Also, why not...

Why are you not just going with the component set, RS4, which is the R4c driver and R19 tweet with included Xover?

Or what about the RS5 set, using (or making) MB Quart adapter rings so you can put 5.25's in the front doors?

I plan on going with these new Kicker component sets, but I haven't seen them out yet. Only lingering supply of last year's models.
Mark P

I didn't because the salesman recommended that I use the titanium nd22 tweeter because it had a sharper sound which I liked better due to my interest in rap and R&B music.....
