I have an auxiliary input solution to the OEM head unit and amp, if you do not have the upgraded audio system, that includes the CD Changer.
It uses this.
<img src="http://mk1tt.montebellopark.com/images/adapter.jpg">
A Blitz-safe built adapter from Autotoys.
It plugs into the changer cable. It should work for all Audis with the 13-
pin Male DIN cable.
See the write-up and rather "unique" install features below.
This adapter allows you to use any MP3, Ipod, Portable Audio, CD player, RioCar, etc., as an input source to the head unit.
Also, as you read my install, my way allows for full fader and balance control to the base OEM system, with a few mods to help it along.<ul><li><a href="http://people.mn.mediaone.net/jbipes/newttr/auxin.html">Aux In to the OEM Non-Upgraded TT Audio Sysytem</a></li></ul>
