BAD BAD BAD reception on my radio
I just recently installed a alpine 310 and the radio reception is horrible, even in the same location as for FORD FOCUS! any suggestion, i have a 1999 a4 1.8T earlier body style pre-vin slpit... i read somewhere that there might be a antenna boster or module in teh trunk where is this located?

Have you installed a SIGNAL SEPARATION FILTER (Metra 40-vw53)...
to supply 12 volts down the antenna cable to power the aerial amp?
IIRC this is required from 1997 onwards when changing head units.

Just spoke to a local shop, indicated, that diversity antennas are just horrible, put in an HD unit for the D310 and it will definitly help it out...and comments?
