Best Speakers?

What would you consider to be the best component speakers? Give me two options:
1. What you would buy for what you consider to be a realistic price. (whatever that might be)
2. What you would buy if price didn't matter.

1. a/d/s 345is ($350) or Rainbow Pro ($450)
2. Rainbow Reference ($14,000/pr)
I am biased towards the "softer," more natural sounding systems... but MBQ Q-series and Focal Utopias are excellent as well. Others you may want to consider in that price range are Diamond Audio Hex, Dynaudio MKII, Image Dynamics Chameleons.

Granted these can get costly......
1. Dynaudio
2. Focal

Apparently, Kicker is making higher quality seperates, but I have not listen to those.
