Blew my rear speakers in my b5(bose), need to know best possible replacments

You can't put anything other than Bose replacements in, as they are 2ohm units.
Try ebay. I don't think any aftermarket speakers come in 2ohm configuration other than sub woofers.

Why can't he put a 4ohm speaker in there? It will work fine just the power off the amp will be less. The real problem is if he was trying to run a 2 ohm speaker on a 4 ohm amp = smoke. I think bose are 1.5ohm anyway.

It'll work with a 4 ohm as you say, as long as you are happy with the rears running at half power. Given he's already blown up a set of rears I doubt this would be "the best possible solution". With the system struggling at the best of times with any decent amount of volume/bass, 4 ohm units would put additional stress on the other Bose components, so at best, even worse sound, at worst, blown sub and front speakers next on the agenda.
