Default Blitzsafe vs. fm Modulator vs. wireless fm transmitter

I am going to install my ipod and I dont really know the pros and cons of the above options. Is the Blitzsafe adapter simply an fm modulator that is "easy to install" by pluggin directly into the unit?

What is the sound quality like on the fm modulator? I have seen cd changers run through them, and it seems to be ok.

How about wireless fm transmitters? The Griffen iTrip seems to be a good option, but is the sound quality garbage? How close to the head unit will it need to be?

Any other suggestions / advice would be appreciated!

Thanks all!

Default Blitzsafe is a direct connection into the input of the H/U. anything 'FM" transmits...

the transmission is a limited FM "radio station" that is limited by signal quality and length.
to get around the limitations of FM transmission, the mfg. cannot send the whole audio bandwidth effectively.

you highs and lows will suffer thru any type of FM signal.
use a direct source in wherever possible.

Default What about for a TT

My other car is a 2001 TT conv. I noticed that you sell a direct input for the HU (as well as a power source). Do you have a link to the best way to get the ipod hardwired for that car? I saw your webpage for the products. Also, how would I go about getting the parts and how hard are they to install. I figure I can handle it since I used to build car stereos (but its been a while).

Default The iTrip looked cool but hardly worked in my allroad in the San Francisco area..

too many radio stations I guess. I want to hard wire in my iPod directly using the Blitzsafe adaptor and using the SAT (satellite button) on my 2004 allroad's head unit. Is this possible??

Default I do not sell a direct input for the H/U, I post on 3 ways to *get* an input...

One, *without* the CD Changer is the BlitzSafe adapter.
The other *two* are for modifications to the existing connections to add in a Aux. Input.

The only one I sell is the Aux in adpater with the changer, through AW classifieds.

If you do not have a changer, the best item is the 'BlitzSafe' adapter or this one.

Aux Adapter without the CD Changer

Default also, look at this post, click on the link to the "build it yourself" adapter.
