Bose Headunit. Should it say BOSE when you power it on?
I got the premium BOSE and Sirius Radio option and it hase the little BOSE emblems on the speaker but I've heard that the headunit can be coded to BOSE or non-BOSE.
How do I know if mine is coded to BOSE?

So do I need to take it back to the dealer to code it?
Just to verify it's a Symphony 2 from a 2007 A4 and when I power it on it comes up directly to the 6 disc changer view.

Oooh. That's pretty new. Things may have changed. Can anybody confirm my claim for newer HUs?
If so, you can code this yourself by finding somebody with a VAG COM tool (go the the VAG COM forum and search for "VAG COM Locator." It will show you a list of people that own then and are willing to help others out.
You'll need to do a search to see what you need to do to recode the HU.
Otherwise, just take to dealer. Given how new it is, that's probably in order.
