Bose Radio Knob Problem

Bose Radio **** Problem
I have problems with my stereo know in Bose )100 CSQ 92 ).When turn Volume down, System Goes off and comes back On again. everytime i reduce or increase volume it goes off/on.. I don't whats wrong with that. Any help on this
