The deck sub appears to be an 8" but regardless its useless. Lying in the trunk I could hardly hear the damn thing so I left it alone. I would never install a sub in an Infinite Baffle configuration (IE in a package shelf). That application leaves the installer no way to tailor the sound of the system as the sub uses the entire trunk as a box. No choice in box size, no porting.
