Default Can anyone help on how to hook up a new headunit to the original BOSE System

Does anyone now how I would hook up a Kenwood KVT-911DVD to a 2000 Audi TT with a BOSE System?

I only want to replace the headunit. I want to keep the original Amp & Speakers. I'm just not sure how to hook it up or what converters I might need.

I've attached a installation page of the KVT911DVD manual.

Thanks

Default IIRC they make a wiring harness for this purpose as I am running .....

a new headunit off my bose system. Got it through "sound advice" though. The stereo sounds much improved too FWIW.

Thanks for your reply.

Who's IIRC or sound advice?
Is there a webpage I can go to, or a phone number to call?
Was it easy to install? (just plug it in)

Isn't the Bose system on a proprietary Ohm frequency, so aftermarket heads don't work?

Default IIRC= If I recal corectly... Sound Advice is a Audio/Video retailer in the Florida, Georgia area....

I think they also have locals in other states aswell. They deal in high end home audio and medium quality car audio. Install should be simple but I didn't do it because of the head unit's complexity and warranty issues..It was a pop out lcd with like 3 modules to hide and all kinds of other crap..plus a custom dash surround. Hope this helps.. Sound advice is on the web too

Default yes sir... and it sounds so much better with it that i have redirected the stereo funds to

buy a jet ski instead. I was planning on doing some DLS 3ways and two ways off a PPI too, ohwell ski should be more fun..... stereo can wait.
