Default last i heard XM had 2 sats, and Sirius had 1

but that was about a year ago. Considering they are not pulling in as many subscribers I am surprised they are releasing multi million $ sats into space. Good for them, I hope they do well, competition never hurt anything... if nothing else it will make my XM better and better

Default Yeah Pioneer only has XM, I think that is how they do it...

each manufacturer chooses one or the other. Pretty nice that Audi allows for both. Are Audi radios still made by Panasonic... I know my OEM TT radio was. I use all Pioneer now

Default where is the antenna for cabrios with XM.. makes me think the sharky is useless

a friend has a cabrio with XM and it works just as well as my xm w/ sharkfin..
if they can get xm to work in a cabriolet without a sharkfin why in the world would they include that hideous thing for the hardtop?

Default Probably under the trunk lid - its composite not metal on the cabrio

For some reason (I believe rear impact collisions) the trunk on the cabrio's is made out of a composit material rather then sheet metal as on the Sedans and Avants - if so, its robably able to transmit directly through it.
