Default Can you fit 5 1/4's in the door of a 98 A4

I took my doors off last night and want to know if anyone has put 5 1/4 components in the doors?? Do I lose the factory look?? Will they fit in without any cutting?

Default Yes, you can...

MB Quart makes adaptors that allow for 5.25" speakers. Or, you can go with custom mounting brackets. I have BA Pro 5.5s in my doors, and many others have installed all types of 5.25" speakers in the stock locations.

Default check out Diamond also...

Hex is their top of the line... $450 for the 5-1/4" separates... and motorsport is a step down for about $100 bucks less... but they sound awesome nonetheless.
