Cannot upgrade Firmware on Icelink Plus current is 2.05- Anyone using it with RNS-D?

This looks promising and something different to what others have suggested - Icelink sold now (!)
Many thanks for the suggestion, like I say, this method does seem promising and different to what I have read anywhere else.
Unfortunately, I got fed up of trying to upgrade many many times that I ended up selling my unit (made a healthy profit actually!).
Perhaps this can help others who are having the same problem.

This trick worked for me!!!
Just wanted to let everyone know that this trick solved my updating problems. I trid just changing the genre from "_Config" to "_config" of the start_update file but no, I needed to reset the ipod and have *only* the update files on it so that the firmware update would actually happen.
BTW, there is a special screen on the ipod while updating the dension, it will not look like you're playing the update "songs" (like I thought it was when first trying to update but i ended up knowing that it was really just playing the files)
