I'm new to the forum and have a few questions.
to start with I bought a 2005 envoy a little over a year ago and here recently I bought a 2000 watt amp to go in it! Come to find out the bose system in it runs on 2 ohms not the normal 4 ohms so I have to change speakers and even the head unit to do what I want. bypassing everything to do with the radio part and even buying some new stuff to leave the XM radio and Onstar intact. So I started looking at in dash head units and if you purchase a radio and a 6 disc changer and the other components your looking at a large hunk of change! Then I ran across an website about in dash computers (Interesting). Here's the questions.
1. Do they make an all in one unit that will hook up to all my accessories?
2. Or is it better to buy the components separately?
3. Where is a few GOOD places to start looking to get Ideas?
4. Any suggestions you all should have that might help me or steer me in the right directions with what all I will need?

Oh my opening in my truck is 4" by 7 3/8"!
