what have you done for input devices, ie. keyboard/mouse, etc.

I am thinking of doing these two:

iFrog for keyboard:

Interlink MicroModule, will fit perfectly in my center console. Has a mouse pad thing and two clicks.

Also, my display is gonna be this:

All this is gonna be attached to an iBook running OS X.4. Plenty of cool user configurations out there for me to play with. PLus I can do some programming for it as well. and AppleScripts are the ****.

Just kinda rounding out the ideas in my head. Looking for some input.

BTW, this is all going into my 93 90. The puter will not replace my HU it will just be an addition to it. I bet I can even get the iTunes song diplay to work like it does for the iPod via the Kenwood adapter that I am currently using.

Also, what is the best power options for the iBook. I was thinking a small battery or an inverter for the iBook. Battery more because I can set the iBook to sleep when it inactive for like 10 minutes and it can pretty much run off its battery but it just needs a charge line.

I don't know, this post is getting long, looking for comments/options/suggestions/etc.

think of the text you NEED to be able to read on a computer. Apple uses something like a 10pt font. Say you get an error message? You won't be able to read it without hauling out the computer from wherever you stash it. When your running iTunes will you really be able to read the titles/artists etc... It might be a better idea to bite the bullet and get an in-dash LCD. just my thoughts, good luck with it BTW.
