cd changer coming up err 1

what can i do shy of spending outrageous money at dealer to have cd changer fixed. it comes up error 1 please help. are these changers changeable with any aftermarket. this cd changer from factory is terrible

i know how you feel, i just started getting this error yesterday, havent been able to fix it or know if could do i t myself.
