Which CD player has the best interior lighting match (RED)and not amber. Which ones do you guys think blends w/ the stock dash the best. All suggestions welcome. My installer believe blau is the best match.

they have dual illumination so the backlighting on the buttons can change from green to red...RED not orange/amber. It's practically an exact match to the Audi interior.
The display, however, is multicolor. The readout on the screen has a lot of animated graphics and is mostly blue with a little green and red mixed in.
If you aren't too particular about sound quality and are just swapping the head unit, then Blau is probably the best overall match.. the Nevada model is the one you should look at. However if you are doing a system with external amps and new speakers, then that means you probably care about sound, quality, and features, in which case I'd seriously look elsewhere. Blau just isn't the same Blau of years past.
The cost on the Kenwood is higher, but IMHO, well worth it.
Check www.kenwoodusa.com and you can check out the eXcelon head units there. They still have last year's models listed but the new models are very similar.
