CD Text
Visiting from the C6 forum. I now understand that in order for my MMI screen to show disc details, ie, title, and track name when playing a CD, I need to use a CD that is encoded with CD Text information. I don't think I have any CD's that are CD Text CDs. Anyone know of any lists of CDs that have the CD Text information? Thanks-

Just copy any disc with your CD-R drive and input your own text.
Any CD burning program will give you the option of inputing CD text. Unless you have a really old drive, you shouldn't have any problems.

A lot of burners/rippers also give you the CDDB look up as well
which you really need if converting a lot of CD's. This will add in all the album and track names automatically from any pressed CD. Obviously stuff you've burned yourself will draw a blank.
