Default Center channel speaker

I have a Bose non-nav symphony II. I've added a nice sub to replace the Bose sub and I've set the fader almost full forward to get rid of the rear muddyness, but I've heard disconnecting the center channel speaker helps alot. How do I do this?

Thanks

Default in a bose environment....it probably needs to be done at the bose amp...

...sorry I don't have the pin info for center channel.

You could also probably pop the center dash speaker out and disconnect manually.

Good luck!

Default

It is easy on A3s... HARD on A4s, best done at Bose amp.

Thanks, I never thought of doing it there. It would probably be easier than pulling the headunit. I was thinking I would have to get at the speaker. I think I found a wiring diagram on this site somewhere. Although that harness scares me a little!

Default The centre speaker is bridged across both left & right front speaker outs

so is easily identified. Skinny cable coming off one left connector and one right, doubled up with the main front speaker wires.
