Default Cheaper alternative to Dynamat.

I just found out about this a minute ago, and I don't ever look in this section of the forum, so I don't know if it's a repost, but:

Default Re: Cheaper alternative to Dynamat.

i used rolls of lead flashing tape like you use on sealing conservatories etc. it is very similar to any other type of sound proofing but a fraction of the cost and better still its adhesive.

Default Sound like an idea, but is it safe (health)?

And where can you find some?

I heard peel and seal is an even cheaper solution to dynamat. I haven't used any of these, but just been researching.
