Just wondering if someone could provide me with the wiring schematics for the plugs to the back of this factory sterio. We returned our Concert head unit to Audi because we were completely unhappy with the display freezing up in the cold temperatures......... but I want to know what all the wires are for before I hook up an aftermarket deck through an adaptor plug. Does anyone know of a link or has someone scanned in the wire color codes anywhere??

Also, from reading almost all the posts in this forum, I want to know if I have this right for the factory Concert Sterio. The front speakers are powered from the deck. The rears are powered from an outboard amp under the rear deck on the driver's side. Now are the factory speakers in the car of some weird resistance like 16 ohms or are they in the normal range of 4 ohms like the aftermarket stuff???? Long story short, do the factory speakers have to be replaced when using an aftermarket deck??

Just curious because I'm going to install a Sony 7850 ES and just was wondering what I'm up against with regards to wiring, blood, sweat and tears.

outboard amp depends on Bose or not.
NO Bose has amp in one of the speaker modules
in the rear deck for both rear deck speakers.

BOSe (i believe) has amp in the trunk, passenger's side.

Wiring schematics are on the back/top side
of the concert radio.

But don't have the Concert radio anymore.... Audi has it!!!
