Default dammit, i need a new sub...i keep blowing my IDQ-10, probably b/c i'm feeding it

500W RMS, and it's only rated at 250RMS (or something like that). Can anyone recommend a beefier SQ sub that'll use a similar sealed box airspace? Thx...

eh...i've had those and they're alright. I'm thinking maybe elemental designs? anyone's thoughts?

Default 500W RMS won't kill an IDQ-10 unless you're abusing it.

Maybe you're expecting too much out of a 10" sub. What kind of amp are you running? You could be clipping the amp which would produce more heat which in turn would melt the voicecoil of the sub.

Default Boston Pro will handle that power, but it wants a very small sealed box.

Something like 0.7 cubic feet.

Ya, nice sub. But titanium's really want more power. 500 is perfect for an Alum.
