I am pretty green when it comes to car audio and was wondering something. Im looking at a couple of in dash DVD units and noticed that there was a notice on all of them saying that the video will not play while vehicle is in motion. Now I understand the reason behind this, but I know that there is a way to allow these to play while moving. I'm sure many of you have done this. Question is how do you do it and how hard is it. I'm leaning towards the Kenwood Excelon kvt-911dvd if it makes a difference. Thanks for your input.

if it was an Alpine, you either have to get this little defeater box or wire one lead to a switch and the other to the brake pedal. You'll just hit the brake, cycle the switch and release the brake and their monitors will play as long as power is not cut...as soon as you turn the car off...you have to do the same thing again. I forgot the details on the little box that's suppose to defeat this.....

i have NEVER seen one that doest not work while the car is in motion. The shop that sells it to you will know how to bypass that.
