Ok i have been searching and reading for quite a while on this topic, i finally got my concert hu and when i connected it up the front left speaker no longer works...it works with my old delta unit just not the concert unit. My question is any ideas to the problem?...it says bose when it is turned on but it is not a bose system in my car...does this need reporgrammed? Also, i have heard various things about a power wire needing to be cut, is this nessecary in this situation? BTW my car is a '96 A4 2.8 non-bose
thank you so much,
Matt

I have the EXACT same problem! The Concert needs to be recoded to non-Bose settings for the front left speaker to work. The problem is, the '96 doesn't support radio recoding. I have my own professional VAG-COM, and I can't access the radio module. The Ross-tech support staff says it isnt possible in the '96. Can anyone tell me about this "k-line" stuff? I tried searching the forums, and haven't found anything specific... I hope this can be done, as I got the Concert to hook up my iPod through the CD changer input (which works great, by the way!).
