I heard you. When it arrives, you have to decide how to configure it...
...and the thread we were running on this discussed your options. IIRC, it came out STRONGLY in favor of "Simple iPod Mode."

Oh..I hear ya...I'll probably do simple mode....
I like the Random Play the best anyways so I can just keep forward skipping until I find something I like. I really like the functionality of the cradle as well with the video out and Aux input for sat radio later.
