DIETZ 1206 - what are the black and red wires for?

DIETZ 1206 - what are the black and red wires for?
Not the Audio RCA outs, the other ones.
The instructions that come with the dietz 1206 do not mention these wires at all.
I am assuming they are to be connected to positive and negative terminals of the battery or something?
