Default With "adapters" many do.

You can check at Autotoys.com or Crutchfield.com for more detailed info as to what works to what degree with the adapters.

The Autotoys site lists the compatible changer kits under OEM OEM OEM.

Default Unsure about "Symphony"

This is the pre-A4 unit, right? Thought they require Alpine changers?

The two adapter manufacturers are Blitzsafe and PIE. Might try a web search on them. I know Crutchfield didn't have the adapter for my "Concert" to Panasonic 8-disc CD changer.

Default Symphony is the term Audi uses to describe the current Panasonic system

I think they called previous systems Delta and Concert

The current OEM (and panasonic equivalent) work with both the Concert and Symphony Head, but I suspect not with those appearing in the MY02 ranges.

I noticed the other day that Sony now market (here in the UK at least) under their "Sony on Top" range both a 6 CD changer and 6 MD Changer which is compatible with the Concert and Symphony heads

I just put in the autotoys.com 8-disc kit. It works perfectly.

The package I ordered is the "Audi 1998-2001+ Compatible Changer OEM Type II 8 Disc," part #oemaudi8. The changer model is CX-DP88U. It works as advertised with my Symphony HU, has played all of my CD-Rs with no problem, and changes discs very quickly IMO.
