Does anyone have a pic of the Blaupunkt Adapter used with a 2000 Symphony head?

I found this link and I'd like to use this adapter. I got a reply from PaJohn saying that you had to cut the existing adapter. So if the Blau. adapter plugs into the back of my Symphony, what am I losing when I cut off the other half of the existing adapter? The feed to my front and rear speakers?

https://www.audiworld.com/forum/m/audio/msgs/468.phtml</a

When you cut these six pins off the original connector, only three are in use; the line outs for the rr and lr that go to that tiny amp hanging off the lr speaker and the remote-on for that amp. The fr and fl pins are empty since the oem is using the speaker outs for the fronts, not the line outs.(non-bose). The adapter you show is the same one, it fits perfectly after you cut that section off the original harness.
