Does anyone know if the RNS-E that fits the C5 A6/S6/RS6 will fit in a B6 platform as well or does

The A6 C5 unit fits somehow in the A4 B5 but it does not fit at all in the A4 B6. Neither does the A3 unit. If you find an 8E0 faceplate you can make it fit though, electrically it's the same (after proper coding).

I'm sure that you can swap the faceplate but I'm not sure if the rails on the side are in the same position. If you put you B6 Symphony and the C5 RNS-E on a table and confirm that the rails are in the same position the a faceplate swap would be possible. So far I have only seen an A3/A4 conversion that worked but not a A4/A6.
On the other hand, it might be next to impossible to get an A4 faceplate. Since there are far more A4 units out there than A6, it might make more sense to sell the A6 unit and buy an A4 unit instead.
