Does the Concert stereo have a hidden EQ?

All this talk I hear about hidden EQs on the Symphony stereo really has me wondering...
Do I have a hidden EQ on my Concert stereo?
I'm using the Blau adapter to run front&rear RCA cables to an Alpine 5-channel amp.
Two of those channels are still idle, as I wait for my rear speakers to arrive. :-(
But A44Me's post below has me very concerned about muddiness.
I do have a VAG-COM, and I'm wondering if I can get into the Concert HU with it.
Anyone know?
Thanks,
Peter

Judging by other peoples' comments, it looks like the Symphony radio mucks up the signal, which necessitates the "hidden EQ."
The Concert stereo does not muck up the signal too much, and actually lends itself quite well to external amplification.
My sub is currently out of the car, sitting in my living room (had to move some big stuff around and needed the trunkspace). But when it's all together, it sounds pretty darn good.
And I like my STOCK dashboard.

It did sound good.
Funny thing OT...I was driving one day and was leap-frogging with a silver Audi back on Route 1 in Jersey. A few weeks later I was emailing Raj (RKA) without even realizing it was him that was on the road. We didn't realize we were talking audio shop a year ago when he just got his A4 and was looking at audio options. I guess changing AW screen names messes everyone up haha.
