Default Electrical - NAV hacking

Hope this isn't off topic, *somewhere* it calls this "Audio & Electrical" so I'll give it a go.

We've got a bit of a discussion going on the A8/S8 boards at the moment about the Navigation kit Teleatlas I belive.

We want to be able to utilise the units ability to load a single languige (does it come from the CD??) from a selection into what appears to be flash RAM.

If each CD contains every languige, which get used by loading into some kind of memory. Then theoretically we could compile a custom CD of laguiges (accents started the discussion) to load from, before replacing the CD with the correct MAP CD.

Anyone got any ideas on this?
