Explanation of vibration from OEM Bose speakers needed

Hello,
I have an Audi S4 with all original speakers except for an alpine amp and 10" subwoofer that was professionally installed.
On 80% of my music is fine, but songs with super low frequencies create a very annoying vibration upon each down beat from the rear speakers.
I removed my rear cover and isolated the problem to the speakers themselves.... Even when removed from the rear deck, this vibration is evident, almost like there is too much power going to them and they cant keep up with the beat.
Now:
1) Is this because the speakers are "blown"?
2) is this because the speakers just suck? I think they sound great 80% of the time...
3) is this because somehow the amp is pushing too much power to the rear speakers?
I am no expert, but thought the amp was powering the sub only.
Any advice would be great, but right now it is looking like i might need some new speakers.
