Can anyone onhere tell me if my 2020 Audi A5 Premium Plus with the 10 Speaker sound system actually has a stand alone amp? Audi's multimedia website states this: Audi sound system with 10 speakers, 6-channel amplifier and 180 watts. I ordered a Nav-Tv Zen-V and was called by their tech today to make sure I didn't need any other modules based on my system to make it all work. I guess I need the MOST system activated if it doesn't have the fiber connected amp. Any help any of you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

I'm assuming the amp is located in the trunk behind one of the side panels. That's where it's usually located in most Audis. The tweeters and woofers in all four doors share a common amplifier channel and use a capacitor on the tweeter as a high pass filter. The two outer speakers in the dash are the tweeters paired with the woofers in the front doors, assuming that's the configuration used in your A5. The center speaker in the dash and the subwoofer have their own dedicated amplifier channels. Four woofer/tweeter pairs + center speaker + subwoofer = 10 speakers + 6 channels.

Correct. However, there is not an amplifier to be found in the rear quarter panel. To my understanding, a few things changed in the 2020 but I can not find any info on this for the Audi sound system amplifier placement or if it is even a stand alone and not part of the control module. Main thing I need to figure out is if this system has the MOST system active for fiber connection.
