I decided to go MB Quart, Alpine and Ample Audio for my system. I know there are more popular brands like Xtant and Focal out there but I have always been happy with Alpine and MBQ. The Ample (which I have read very little about) was given to me from a friend so I figured WTF it will do for now. My deck is stock for now (stealth reasons) so here what I have:

1- 10" MBQ Reference DVC (4ohm x 2, 130-160RMS 250-300Peak)
1- 5.25 MBQ Refernce Components (40-100W)
1- Alpine T320 (80w x 2RMS)
1- Ample Audio 226 (130w x 2 RMS or 520x1 Peak)

Both amps are 2 ohm stable and my original plan was to use the Alpine on the components (figured it would be a much cleaner amp) and the Ample on the sub. After looking at the specs I am worried the Ample may be too powerful for the one sub, especially if I drop it in 2 ohms. Would it be silly to just run one channel of the amp to the sub instead of bridging it? I am really at a loss here. I am stiving for more SQ than SPL. Help please....

I will just put the ample on the components (figure it is better to overpower a bit than underpower.) then bridge the Alpine and wire the sub parallel for a 2 ohm load. My biggest concern was the cleaness of the Ample amp but after some research in other forums they seem to have good feedback. I will let you guys know how it works.
