I have a TT with the Bose Premium Sound System and 6 disk CD Changer but I think I am having problems with my GALA function. Effective and apparent are not words that describe the situation. Even on the most extreme setting (5) I do not hear any reduction in loudness when I slow the car down. Does anyone think their GALA is working. I would like to get some idea of what is normal. Thank you. Workin'Audi. (its working is my playing! Great Car)

One answer may be "that's what it's supposed to do - make it so you don't notice" Poop to that, it should have more settings so that the max setting is overkill, but that's obviously not the case.
Sorry, it's not all it's advertised to be.
At my first service, I brought this up and my Service Advisor said he never heard one that "worked".
I was able, through some intense studies, to prove that the turn-on volume setting *did* work

...I would get up to past 50mph (where GALA is at its loudest) and brake as hard as possible down to about 10mph (where GALA is at its softest). With the stereo turned up loud, I could notice a slight difference. Otherwise, it was nearly imperceptible.
