Default Has Nakamichi jumped the shark
I love the simple design for possible replancement of my OE HU, but I heard that Nakimichi has gone downhill since some of their top engineers went to Eclipse a few years ago. The reviews still look good, but I'm afraid of the horror stories of unreliabilty and horrible customer service when warrenty issues come up. Any truth to this?

Default Nak has not been the same since before the turn of the century.
Not even close to the high end sound quality units they put out in the 80s and 90s.

Default The new Eclipse CD7200 is pretty awesome for SQ
as well as the Clarion 9255, it's a bit dated now, but still an great unit.
