Have you guys heard of the Audio Control LC6. Seems like a great....

I have a 2001 S4 and am putting together the components and have been STRONGLY recommended by my local custom car audio shop to use this piece.
It is a top quality Hi Level adaptor that can accept external bass control. It kills 2 birds with one stone and I am promised that it does a much better job with High Low converting on an amplified system (Bose) than the $50 units do.
In my opinion. the external bass control is crucial to making this sound good as I can adjust how much or how little I want to pound based on music, mood, people in car... Something the factory controls can't do. Had this in my A4 and used it all the time.
The only drawback is the price. $330 Canadian with the bass control.
Other components I have settled on are a JL Audio 250/1 and Image Dynamics IDQ12V4 12" in a custom box. (I am returning the Rockford Fosgate amp and sub that I bought in December... you guys win hehe)
Any recommendations?
