head unit install on 02 TT. where to tap into 12v switched?

been searching on every forum i can find, not having any luck.
stock harness has no 12v switched hot, aftermarket head unit needs one
i know the fuse box is the 1st option but wondering if there is any other/easier solution everyones using?

The interim solution is to use a feed off the fusebox, but this will turn off the HU as soon as ou turn off the engine (unless you have a Radio S-Kont fuse on the panel) - not ideal.
The proper solution is to tap the ignition loom, but not sure what wire on a TT. On a B6 A4 it is really obvious. It's the really skinny red wire coming off the ignition switch. This then needs a relay as it's not man enough to power anything. You'll then get a proper feed which will only turn off the HU when you pull the keys out.
