Help!!! Can't get radio out!
Any help would be appreciated. I'm trying to remove my Symphony II from my A6. I have the removal keys in place, and the thing will not move at all. I've tried pulling within the cassette player as well. I'm thinking the tabs might be screwed up somehow. Is there anyway to get to the tabs from the sides? (ie-taking of sides of center console) How do those remove? Appreciate any suggestions.
Thanks!
Thanks!

Had same problem with wife's A4
First make sure you've got the keys in the right way.
Some have suggested that the seal is too tight around the radio and suggested use of flat nife to break the seal. Didn't work for me.
I dropped the lower dash on driver's side and took out the glove book. Pushed from radio from behind. Might be overkill but worked for me.

Whatever you do, don't pull on the keys themselves. As Mobs suggests remove the glovebox
and push from behind. The keys should insert with the angled sides facing inwards, you should feel some resistance then they should lock into place. Chances are you've already knackered the spring clips as they are very fragile and are easily bent if you've been pulling on the keys, or a previous owner has tried using nail files or similar.
There is no seal to break between the HU and the fascia.
