I have 98.5 A4 w/ bose system and I hate the bass from this system. What can I do to get better bass. Can I add an amp and a sub to the bose system? Please help.

HELL YEAH, put a box in the trunk, like 2 JL 10" and an alpine amp, be sure to put a level control on the subs

Is it possible to put a control **** up in the dash with the Bose? What kind of amp would be best to do this with? I would really appreciate any help.

If you are going to add an external amp/sub, the Epicenter will give you crossover/boost/and level control via a phone cable and **** that you can mount up front in dash! I will definitely add one to my A4 one of these days!<p><a href="http://registry.audiworld.com/audi/registry/details.asp?car=2176">

Any amp, I put the control under the dash on the right side, it was awesome. I put it next to the kill switch on my TV

The guy at Rich's Car Tunes seemed to be perplexed by this idea. I'll probably be using an alpine V12 amp. Will this still work?

There's actually a good FAQ on doing this in the A4 section. Well, there are three FAQs about bass and Bose, but if you read all three you will see the one guy that really seemed to know his stuff (IMHO).
