Default help. My Alpine just got stolen from my Jetta....

It believe it was a 7545 or something like that. It had a cassette player in it and also had CD changer controls.

Problem is, I can replace it, but I was not sure whether Alpine changed the CD changer control cables. My changer that mated to the stolen Alpine was pre-AiNET type cable (circular).

are the cables the same? Is there an adapter if there is a difference? I'd hate to change out the CD changer since only the head unit needs replacement.

They left the cables uncut (intact).

TIA!

This sucks.

Default If it's CHM-S601, It's an M Bus Changer

There's M Bus and Ai-Net, both are current alpine protocols.

There was an older bus too....

send me an email if you have any more questions.

Default Alpine CHM-5601 needs a good home

I have this model I just pulled out of my accord. Works great! I just went to mp3 is why i am getting rid of it. If interested email me at emw@naxs.net - I also have the factory head unit from the accord if interested. Thanks - Eric
