Got a new HU put in yesterday that plays MP3's (or at least it should). I burned a CD at work on Friday with about 30 songs in MP3 format and I can not get it to work. The CD will play in my computer at home but not in the car. WHy?
Reasons I could think of:
- The manual says the player may not play secific types of CD-R's...Did I get the wrong type? I am using a SOny CD-R 700MB
- Bad file naming format?
- One text file on the cd i put there by accident?
-SOMe configuation option i missed while burning the CD?
Thanks
Shane

Try another brand.
I'm not sure how the MP3 HU's work, but the manual should specify naming conventions you have to abide by or the appropriate way to burn the CD (should it be closed or not, should it be only filled to a certain size, directory structure, etc).
