Default HELP!!! Phatnoise install problem...

I've got my car torn open in the back and I'm trying to do the install replacing the CD changer with the Phatnoise. When I unplugged the CD changer and pulled out the Phatnoise cable I noticed that they're completely different.

The connector on the left is what was plugged into my CD changer while the connector on the right is what the Phatnoise came with.

I've seen postings here of Phatnoise installs and I know everyone has been able to connect theirs using that round cable connection (sorry, don't know what it's called). I can't seem to find that in my side cavity anywhere and it certainly wasn't plugged into the changer.

Did Audi change the cable type that plugs into the old CD changers or is it there just waiting for me to discover it?!

Hoping someone is awake that can help out!

Default That's a VW Phatbox.

You need to swap the pigtail on the Phatbox with the Audi pigtail that will have the correct round connector.

Default The rectangle connector is what's wired in my TT, the round connector is what came with my Phatnoise

Do you mean I need to switch the cable that came with my Phatnoise player to a rectangle connector type?

Default I have the same Phatnoise connector every other Audi gets (round)...

The problem is that for some reason when Audi wired my CD changer they used a VW wiring harness with a rectangle connector. That means the round connector which is intended for all Audi connections doesn't work. Why Audi did this I'll never know. It's a brand new TT 3.2.
