My installer mounted them to the doors themselves, now I have air coming through the speaker grilles. Should the be mounted to the door panels like the factory speakers? I dont get a lot of sound out of them because the rear sound is cancelling the sound from the front of the speakers (I think). Any help GREATLY appreciated!

the MB Quart adapters. I think that is how most of us did it. Check out the installs by myself, Mark P. and others in this forum for ideas and pics. Good luck! Make sure you look at all of these links!!!

I couldnt get MB Quart adapters...could the installer fabricate something?

But why were you unable to get the adapters? That's odd. If you need to, try to find another dealer just for that part, it will facilitate everything with your front doors. Try the MBQ website to find a dealer near you.<p>"I'm that Blue Menace in your rear view!!!"

my installer fabbed his own adapters out of MDF. Didn't charge me extra either because he thought he had the MBQ adapters in stock, was mistaken, and didn't want me to have to wait longer while they were shipped.
