Default overall, not bad...

I was considering Dynaudios, but considering the price difference between the two, i think the DA's are a more-than-fair compromise. the 6.5" add-on works wonders for pulling the bass imaging up front, and the silk tweeters (not the titanium!!!) are very smooth. I don't know what type of music you're gonna listen to, but i listen to stuff like Norah Jones and John Mayer, and they both sound great! Esp. Norah Jones...her voice through these speakers can give you goose-bumps. But be sure not to forget the dynamat in the doors!! Good luck...

Default just to set the record strait, the diamond tweeter is not titanium like the mb quart at all,

it is aluminum, the reason for this is Ti resinates at about 4000htz and with a x-over point of about 2000 you hear the res peak which is what causes the harsness that most people speak of.

the aluminum tweeter res. at about 1800htz, and diamond uses a x-over point of 2300 to 2800 so that you do not have the harsness.
the silk tweeter is still a little softer though, i like them both you just have to have a very smooth amp that will not clip ofter with the metal tweeter, but even less so than with a titanium tweeter.

hey sorry for all the spelling issues..
