Having problems with hook up.
I have a concert radio/cassette with the standard 6 cd changer.
I have wired into the front spkrs athe rca leads.
When i turn up spkrs, it cuts out the sub and the radio display goes crazy.
Is there an easier setup.

or use the Blaupunkt adapter and run proper RCA's to the sub amp.
Judging from the symptoms you describe I presume you've done something horrible like splicing into the front speaker output and wired this directly to the RCA input of the amp?
You cannot feed an amp with a speaker output signal, unless it has a speaker input option on the amp. Easier bodge solution is to wire in a line out converter between the speaker output and the amp input, but this is unnecessary as the pre-outs are already there, so use them.

yes it was recomended by aydio store to put rca to front spkrs, using a rca converter.
How do i find the pre outs? i did not think there were any.

or at the rear amp, but depends on what car you have and whether Bose or not as to what pins and location.

It is a concert radio/cassette. in a 1998 A3.
aNY WAY OF A DIAGRAM , so i can see what i need to hook into.
The rca adaptor that i am using is a standard one, will a blaupunkt be better?

Unfortunately the rear speakers also run off the amp inside the tupperware sub enclosure so you'll need to either use a second amp or extract the amp from the sub and hook it up in tandem with the new sub amp.
The remote on is also on the same connector. What I do on my stealth sub installs for the A3 is to cut one end off an RCA lead, strip them back and solder very small spade terminals to them which can then plug into the red connector without cutting any wiring. Or you could use a piggyback connector onto the sub side of the connector as the wires are pretty easy to get to.

You need to run a dedicated 30-40amp fused power cable straight to the battery & check your earth to the amp. Sounds like the amp is trying to draw current from the HU, possibly through the screens on the RCA's if the amp isn't grounded properly. Also is the amp matched to the sub? What amp is it and what sub?

It came out of my previous car, and worked a treat.
Kenwood 6202 amp and sub.
I have the amp wired direct to car battery, earth is fine, and remote power is piggy backed to back of h/u to the yellow live wire.
I have concluded that i may have to change the HU,if i do, is there a compatible aftermarket one compatible with cd changer
