Default hooking an Amp to stock sympony radio

Is this possible without loosing speakers? I want to keep the head running the normal speaks, and add a sub. This is in an Avant, so there is already a sub, and I presume an amp. What is the easiest/best way to do this?
Anyone have any pics of a stereo instal in an Avant?
Thanks

Well, if you have the Bose, you're going to run into problems because Bose speakers have funky requirements (specifically, low impedance). A high quality amp should have adjustable impedance (my PPI does), but I wonder if you'll be happy with the sound quality. I would add a sub with a mono amp to power it, and see how that sounds. If you still want more, do the speakers AND an amp - just adding an amp w/factory speakers probably won't make much difference. Louder, yes, but probably more distortion also.
