how do i know if I need a capacitator(sp)?
I am currently in the process of getting all the parts I need for my audio system setup and was wondering if I need a cap. Maybe if I tell you what I have and plan to get then you can help me out even more.
Focal 165K2 components
Focal Audiom 6W midranges
McIntosh MCC446 amp (55x4 + 110x2)
JL 10W3 sub
Phoenix Gold XS2300 (150x2)
If I am not mistaken, caps keep a reserve of power at bay so the power is kept at a certain level. And caps also stops the dimming of the interior lights and such. I two amps, does that require a cap? if not, is it recommended? suggestions? ideas?
